problem with the mobile version of facebook and internet exp

Hi all, I downloaded and installed ie eight about a week or so ago. Ever sense i downloaded and installed ie eight I can't get on the mobile version of facebook. Every time I try to access the site, a dialog box comes up with a download. Some of my friends have ie eight and they can access the mobile version of facebook without a problem. Is there any setting in ie eight that needs to be changed, or is there any way I can fix this problem? Thanks in advance for any help.

I'd be interested to see what you find out. IE8 works fine with me and fb mobile. You aren't using a third party download manager are you?

i have tried the mobile version of facebook with fire fox and it works just fine.
